Mayagüez (July 30, 2010) – José Pedraza gives the third gold medal to Puerto Rico in the boxing championship of the XXI Central American and Caribbean Sports Games after defeating César Villaraga of Colombia 10-2 in a very disputed fight in the 60 kg.
With this medal, Puerto Rico achieves tying its record of three gold medals in the Central American Games of 1946 in Baranquilla, Colombia.
